How To Create A Course and Upload It To TalentLMS

We will teach you how to create a course and upload it to TalentLMS.

1.    Create a course in PowerPoint as you normally would

2.   But you might want to make your presentation more captivating by going to the I-Spring Suite tab. It is an e-learning authoring toolkit PowerPoint that can help you jazz up your PowerPoint presentation by adding some interactive options like quizzes, interaction, dialog simulation, screen recordings. These courses are almost ready to go

3.    All you have to do is to add a blank slide, select the quiz button, and then upload the quiz you already created.

4.    If you want to learn more about creating content using I-Spring Suite, check out their other tutorials. Now, if you are ready to upload the content to TalentLMS, go ahead and select the publish button and add what you want to publish for an LMS.

5.    Here you can name your course and choose where to store and you can select your LMS profile.

6.    TalentLMS supports SCORM 1.2, Experience API, CMI5,  or any standard you like.

7.    It totally depends on your requirements for tracking the learning experience

8.    Once your courses are finished publishing, go ahead and select open to where your file has been stored.

9. Now, it’s time to upload this file to TalentLMS. Only administrators and instructors can add and manage courses.

10.  Make sure that you are login as administrator or instructor. If you are an administrator, you can add course from the main page. And if you are an instructor you can find the same button on the same panel.

11.   Now, you can enter your course’s name then head down to the save button. Before you click it, choose the arrow to the right and change to save and add content. Next, click add and then SCORm/XAPI?cmi5. Here you can add the unit name, then choose your file, and choose whether you would like your course to appear embedded or pop-up as a new page. 

12.   Now, you can save and view. Press Start to make sure it’s working properly.

13.    Users can view your new course in the course catalogue.
