Creating A Course In TalentLMS
1. From your account’s home page (Administrator), go to Courses and click Add Course.
Let’s create a course on how to boost your Negotiation Skill. Skip the category, add the description, take the certificate and hit the save button. You can either select users or save the course as it is now or start adding content.
2. As you notice, to add content you are automatically switched to instructor(If not, Go to your Instructor role). From here you either drag and drop your files or build your content manually. We are going with the second option.
Click Add and Click Content. Give it a name, and use an Editor to write or a text, upload images, and do all what an editor can do. Hit save when you’re ready.
Do you want to add content from an external website? Add a web content unit. Paste the URL you want to embed, how the unit would be completed, and save.
3. Let’s add the video to the course. Click add button and click video, and either paste the video URL or search YouTube without leaving the platform. Set how learners will complete it and save. Of course you can upload your own video file or capture your video right on your TalentLMS account. This option is also available for audio units as well. Speaking of which, add an audio unit and click record audio, click the white record button and start speaking. Click save.
4. TalentLMS can also take your presentation and turn into an online content. Again click “Add” then Click presentation document in the drop down menu, add a title, and select the file you want to upload.
Let us now see the overall course completion rules.

6. The Completion Rules are set so that learners must complete courses in a specific order, and also all units must be completed. From here, you can also add pre-requisite of the course or change how the scores calculated.
