SUPERVISE WORK-BASED LEARNING
1. How will you identify and establish relationship with potential participating companies?

ANSWER:
Pagkatapos ng institutional training, or training inside the training center, ang mga trainees ay ipapadala sa kumpanya na kung saan i-apply nila ang kanilang mga natutunan sa training center. Tinatawag ito na On the Job Training, or OJT. Lately, ito ay tinatawag ng TESDA na Supervised Industry Learning , or SIL.
Bago niyan, maghahanap muna ang training center ng kumpanya na kung saan ipapadala ang mga trainees para sa OJT. Magpadala ito ng proposal letter sa kumpanyang na identify. Ang susunod ay ang pag set ng appointment. Dito i-present ng training center kung ano ang layunin ng OJT. Sa pahintulot ng kumpanya, mag-conduct ng site visit ang training center upang matingnan niya ang kapaligiran at kaayusan ng lugar na kung saan ang mga trainees ay gaganap ng kanilang Work-based Training. Ang susunod na gagawin ng training center ay ang pag-gawa ng training plan at Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pagitan ng kumpanya at ng training center patungkol sa OJT ng mga trainees. Ang MOA ay isang Tripartite Agreement na lalagdaan ng training center, kumpanya, at ng trainee.
Kasunod nito ay ang deployment na ng mga trainees sa kumpanya upang mag-umpisa na ang kanilang OJT. At ang panghuli na gagawin ng training center ay ang coordination at monitoring sa mga trainees sa kanilang OJT at ang pag-gawa ng work-based training evaluation.
2. Will you write a training plan for your students? Why?
- Yes, because the training plan specifies how the training should be done, what should be done, and what methods to use to meet the training requirements

Yes. Hindi maaring basta na lang mag-OJT ang mga trainees na di alam kung ano ang mga gagawin nila. Kailangang alam ng lahat, ibig sabihin ng training center, kumpanya at ng trainees kung anu-anong training activities na gagawin, panu ito gagawin at ano ang mga pamamaraan upang matugunan ang training requirements.
3. Before you send your students to the participating company, what preparatory activities should you do? Why?
3.1 training plan
- determine the learning requirements of learners
- identify the persons involved in the training
- determine where the training will be conducted and the schedule

NOTES:
Bago ipapadala ng training center ang mga trainees sa kumpanya, gagawa ito ng Memorandum of Agreement na maglalaman ng mga tungkulin at obligasyon ng bawat party ng mga pipirma nito. Ang mga ito ay ang sumusunod: training center, kumpanya, at ang trainee.
Bukod sa MOA, ihahanda din ng training center ang training plan tungkol sa OJT na gagawin.

c. Trainee’s Progress Sheet
- Monitoring is necessary to make sure that the required competency is achieved at the end of the training
- Immediate feedback should be given to the learners
NOTES:
Upang ma-monitor ang progress ng mga trainees, ang mga sumusunod ay kailangan: training plan, trainee’s record book, at trainee’s progress sheet. Ang mga ito ay kailangan sa pagtiyak na naabot ng trainee ang competency level na itinakda pagkatapos ng training. Ang feedback ay kaagad ibigay sa mga trainees.
4. If the participating company will make an unfavorable remark about the performance of the students, what will you do?
- Talk to the company and inform the learners about the feedback and make the necessary adjustment
NOTES:
Kung may di-kanais-nais na remark ang kumpanya tungkol sa performance ng trainee, kakausapin ng training center ang kumpanya at ipaalam nito sa trainee ang remark na iyon ng kumpanya. Gagawa ito ng kaukulang pag-aayos.
5. How will you evaluate the effectiveness of the work-based learning? Why is there a need to perform such evaluation?
- I will know if the work-based learning is effective by:
- Referring to the training plan
- Referring to the trainee’s progress report
- Getting feedbacks from trainees

NOTES:
Malalaman kung ang work-based learning ay naging mabisa ba sa pamamagitan ng pag-alam kung nasusunod ba ang training plan, pagsuri sa trainee’s progress report, at ang pag-alam sa feedbacks ng trainees. Sa pamamagitan ng mga ito ay malalaman kung anong bahagi ng training na nangangailangan ng pagbabago.
